Question by Me…: Paralegal????
I was looking into becoming a paralegal… I am a junior in high school this coming year, and i am very ambitious. I was just wondering… what are the requirements for a paralegal, and what is a basic job description that they do? also… how much money do they make?

A paralegal does all the leg work for an attorney, such as legal research, setting court dates, meeting with clients, legal memos, etc., etc.

hey, my mom just got a degree in this. Trust me when i know what i am talking about. being a paralegal is basically a secretary job and not paid very much. plus its very hard to find a job outside of college with it because they require 3 years of experience at least. no one nowadays want to train them in the jobs even when they are interning, they dont teach them what they need to do. so unless u want to do hours of studying the law in college just for nothing in the end with bad paid and no benefits then go right ahead. but i highly reccomend not to do it. try to aim for being a lawyer. it has better pay and benefits plus the studying for it is almost like a paralegal but u get use out of it in the end. and good luck. ^_^
